QUEER YOUTH CABARET: QUEERFUTURES 2099
2021
Writer and Performer: "Colourful Existence"
The 2nd Annual Soulpepper Queer Youth Cabaret asks: What does queerness look like at the turn of the 22nd Century?
Colourful Existence is a love letter to all Queer and Trans identities and their intersections. It’s an unstructured poem speaking to Queer Futurism with such conviction that it’s not about a “would be nice” future, but rather the actualities of what we as activists, artists, and lovers will have accomplished. This piece is directed at removing trauma porn, toxic positivity, and headlines about basic human decency. It is about normalizing body positivity without capitalizing on those bodies. It is about folks thriving without having to fight for their right to exist in this world. It is a love letter to my younger self, my current self, and my future self.

Event Opening Burlesque Performer
My debut performance as Miss Diamond, I performed a striptease to reverse strip act to Lizzo's "'Scuse Me" and lit up the stage while I was feeling myself.
My introduction: Miss Diamond is known for her dominating sensuality. She's a badass who knows exactly what she wants. Strap in because her curves will take you on a bumpy ride that hurts so good, she'll have you coming back for more. She is unapologetically flawless.
